This is a photograph of an area of quite flat rockss between a beach and the sea. The beach is at the bottom of the picture and the sea at the top. In between are the rocks. They are mostly quite smooth and have rounded edges.

There are clear gullies and ridges running parallel to each other, and the rock layers have been tilted so that they are angled up at about 40 degrees to the horizontal.
