This is a photograph of two wavecut platforms. The photographer was standing at the top of a high cliff, looking down and along the beach, so it is an oblique view.
To the left is the sea, quite flat and calm. To the right are the cliffs covered in grass and small bushes. The cliffs slope steeply down to the beach at about 80 degrees - too steep to climb but not vertical!
Along the seaward side of the beach are the two wavecut platforms, both of them looking like continuations of the beach extending out to sea. They are flat rock surfaces with a little seaweed visible here and there.
